Subsonus fuzzes the signal and uses a CMOS PLL chip to synthesize a sound either 1 or 2 octaves below the fundamental. It works best on monophonic sounds (a single guitar string). Functions with guitar or bass.
Knobs are :
Volume - Adjusts Level
Mix - Adjusts the blend between guitar and synth octave
Filter - Rolls of top end as it's increased
Octave Miniswitch: selects between 1 or 2 octaves down on the octave
The second footswitch is momentary and enables GLITCH mode. When activated, Subsonus creates weird filtered fuzz sounds that sweep between octaves as the signal decays.
Mounted in a silkscreened polished aluminum1590BBS enclosure. True Bypass. No battery clips. All pedals require 9v 2.1mm Center Negative (Boss Style) Power Supply. Use of any other type of power supply can result in damage to the circuit.
