Secret 77 Rat Derivative - Baby Blue Sparkle - 1 of 1

Secret 77 is my version of the RAT with a few changes and additions.

The Shape control offers additional tone shaping by adjusting the feedback loop on the IC. An external miniswitch toggles 9v or 18v operation. There is an internal charge pump which steps up the 9 volt DC input voltage to 18 volts. A 3 way miniswitch offers clipping diode options: LED's, Silicon and D9K Germanium. Secret 77 uses an OP07 operational amplifier.

18V operation, Germanium diodes and the Shape control offer a range of lower gain sounds not typically found in a RAT.

There are some FANTASTIC low gain tones running it at 18 volts and selecting the Germanium clipping diodes. It gives a glassy top end while adding a compressed quality due to the low forward voltage of the Ge diodes.

Each one is dymo labeled, handpainted and handbuilt, making it unique.

Use 9v DC center negative power supply ONLY! There is a charge pump internally which will double the voltage. If you feed the pedal anything, greater than 9V DC, you will damage the pedal.
