The Machine Elf is a muff style fuzz that uses CMOS inverters for the gain stages, giving it the classic muff sound with tube'ish coloring. The tonestack in the default position is the Ram's Head voicing.
It's incredibly versatile due to the addition of several additional controls:
FAT SWITCH: Adds low end to the input signal
3 WAY MIDS SWITCH: Selectable between Scooped (Classic Muff Sound), Super Scooped and Mid Boost
3 WAY CLIP SELECT: Infrared Diodes, Silicon 1N4148 or BAT46
CLEAN LEVEL: Mixes clean signal into the output. It is not a Blend or Mix control and allows you add clean signal independent of the Fuzz Output Volume
Machine Elf is housed in a polished aluminum 1590BBS enclosure with top mount jacks and features True Bypass operation. A center negative 9V DC (BOSS style) power supply is required (no battery option.)
